In His Silks by Patricia D. Eddy

I am voluntarily reviewing this ARC.

I was pleasantly surprised that this story was not what I had thought. Yes, there was a D/s component to this story, so the title is warranted, but there is so much more. The love story builds at a steady, but unhurried pace. The author doesn’t just jump into their their physical relationship. It starts with a slow simmer and organically builds heat to the point of boiling over. These characters chemistry is delicious. I love that the sub plot of this story is believable and full of adrenaline.

In His Silks is a fun, steamy read, with a lot of heart.

Shades of Her by Ozlo and Priya Grey

I am voluntarily reviewing this ARC.

I won’t give anything away other than what’s already in the description. I feel so bad for these characters because the set up of this romance has heartache and destruction written all over it. None the less, I felt myself lost in the story. This concept should irritate me because in essence, there is sort of cheating going on. I mean, not really, but infidelity of the heart. However, the way this author writes these characters and this story…it just works. So don’t let the description throw you, if you’re like me, and this feels like people are getting hurt, because in the end there is a very satisfying HEA. It’s not just thrown in to satisfy that need, but it is the end of a journey that is full of self discovery, and true love, for these characters. Very good read!

Don’t Look Back by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Don’t Look Back by Jennifer L. Armentrout
I took my daughter to the library and was browsing. This beauty just jumped out at me. I couldn’t believe there was a Jennifer L. Armentrout book that I had not read yet.

As usual, this one hooked me from second one!

This is a YA book, and is very suspenseful. Even though is is a YA book, there were parts that had me fanning my flushed face. That I’d just the way Jennifer L. Armentrout writes, she puts you right there in the story, in the main character’s head. She writes character’s that haunt you. Samantha, in this book, suffers amnesia after a traumatic event in the woods. In this story, she learns who she was before this event, and who she really is now. Sam gets a second chance at life. A chance to right her wrongs and be a good person. Through all this, there is a race to find the person that caused the trauma and to remember the circumstances surround it.
This book is a must read. I have only good things to say here, and that I need another Jennifer L. Armentrout ASAP!!!

Something True by Sabrina Stark

I am voluntarily reviewing this arc.

Book 1 left me in pieces. Not nice Ms. Stark! Not, nice. But alas book 2 is here and all is well with the world again.
There are moments in a book that are just so …satisfying. For instance, a total jerk wad hemming and hawing for words, or a friend having just the right zinger to say at just the right time. This book is full of those! I love it!! The banter is just hilarious, and in the end, all the bad guys get their just reward, and the good guys…what do you think? They live happily ever after. Something true is a funny, sweet and utterly satisfying read.

Rewrite is a beautifully written journey.

The prolog for this book hooked me…no lie! She meets the love of her life in kindergarten! I can’t!!

Brianna and Josh have a love story for the ages. Their story is filled with young love, seemingly unrequited love, heartbreak, second chances and so much more. These two characters are likable and lovable. The pages seemed to turn them selves as minutes turned to hours without me even realizing it. I adored this book and recommend it. However I only recommend it if you like sweet, sexy, kind, tatted up guys. The loyal kind that is in love with his best friend and does anything to get her.

Filthy Player by Stacy Lynn

I am voluntarily reviewing this ARC.
Filthy player, is anything but. This is a sweet love story with so much heart. Professional football player, Beaux falls hard for waitress Paige. He is unaffected by his new found wealth and she is unimpressed with his fame. He has to win her heart just by being himself. Both of these characters were so likable! So lovable! I was tearing up at so many parts. The love that Paige has for her dad squeezed my heart. The chemistry between Beaux and Paige was addicting. The story held me captive. There wasn’t one unnecessary word. I loved this book!

Sir: The Awakening

Sir: The awakening
Book 2 picks up where the cliff hanger lets us off. Again, I love the novelty of the incredibly slow build up of this romance. Book one is a seduction and book 2 is a beautiful, steady build of relationship and trust. Of course now that this book is over, I want book 3 like now. These 2 books were absolutely wonderful and I cannot day one bad word! Hurry, go get these! Annnd, your welcome;)
