Seal’d Lips by Roxeanne Rolling

I received an ARC for an honest review.
Hana and Noah meet just after high school. She’s a late bloomer, daughter of hippies and he’s already a player with a dark home life. They have an intimate night and then, well the guy’s an ass. Four years later they meet again…

They have great chemistry, and it is a nice story.

This is a great beach read:)

Shame me not by Fiona Cole

I received an ARC for an honest review.

This is perhaps one of the steamiest things that I have ever read…and that’s saying something. I mean, in the beginning of the book, the deed hadn’t even been done yet and my heart was thumping like nobody’s business !!

But where this author and this book had me, heart and soul was the Gilmore girl debates! I almost lost it at the reference to being team Jess verses team Sean or Logan. (It’s the little things in life:)

Then, my heart was ripped out as trouble came. Everything in this book made me feel so intensely.

My only teeny tiny complaint is that I hated the wasted time when they were not together. I just wanted to scream at them!!! Just a little. But that complaint is just me knit picking.

I loved this book!!!

I loved the friendship! I loved the message encapsulated perfectly in the title. Shame me not.

Shame. Panic. Desire. Dominance. Disgust.

All feelings that I was familiar with from the age of sixteen. That’s when I met Ana. The girl next door who became so much more. Until her, I was alone in the dark desires that I didn’t understand, that I couldn’t reconcile.

My best friend, she accepted me. Helped me see that there was no shame in the things that we both craved. Her submission was a drug, my dominance over her a high that I’d never experienced. When we were together, I was at peace for the first time in my life.

But it was too good to last. Our own guilt over our feelings, of our appetite for pain and pleasure, destroyed us.

I was convinced that all I needed was a chance, just one more chance to overcome my shame, and Ana would be able to trust me again.

If only it were that easy.

Savage: The Kingwood Duet by S. L. Scott

I received this ARC for an honest review.

This book had me swooning after Alexander Kingwood immediately! I’m about 22% in, and I think Alexander is one of my favorites. He loves Sara Jane so thoroughly, it literally takes my breath away. Sarah Jane has a strength and an innocence that reminds me so much of Ana in Fifty Shades. I can feel the tension growing in the writing. Something is going to happen. The prolog prepared me for it. But I’m still nervous. This is the type of story that I LOVE to get caught up in. Ok, now I have to continue reading…
I’m now 44% in and wow!!! Why have I not known about this author??? I have experienced a meriad of emotions. Mad…jealous in proxy of the character, sad, heart racing steaminess, and contentedness. That’s probably not a word, but that’s ok:)

I want to continue to read. No, I NEED to, but I am so tired!!!!! Maybe one more chapter 😉

62% in now. And I just read a scene that made me nauseous:( I still have nothing but love for these characters. But I’m queasy. I wish I could tell you what happened, but I don’t want to spoil it!!
Wow, I just finished and all I can say is wow!!!! What an amazing ride!!!! I need book 2 like right now, cause, can you say, holy cliff hanger Batman?!

This book was amazing!

Ruck Me : A Dublin Rugby Romance by Rebecca Norinne

I received an ARC for an honest review.

This story centers around Declan’s sister Aoife .

I’m going to keep going with this reviewing while I’m reading because honestly, I feel like we are in this together, you know? And that makes it just so much more fun.

So Eoin and Aoife are childhood friends. She is a virgin and wants to be done with it. She comes up with a brilliant plan to have some idiot do the honors. It’s takes this turn of events for Eoin to really see Aoife and “volunteer as tribute”. You’ve got to love the hunger games reference.

The story takes a lot of turns thanks to loads of misunderstandings. Through it all it is incredible steamy. Although I will say, I’m not particularly fond of Eoin. Other than that, it’s a very fun read. I liked it. Not as much as the first book, but I’d still recommend it.

Fun little survey! Copy and paste and tag me in it so I can see your answers:)

I’ve seen this post around a bit, but I pulled it from the lovely Holly at Nut Free Nerd. You guys should go check her out.

Fractured Love by Ella James
I received an ARC for an honest review.
So I had this idea. I want to try writing my reviews as I’m reading the story. Let’s see how this goes shall we?? Feel free to give me feed back.

Landon and Evie… I’m 17% in and I love them both. She is living a life filled with love and privilege. He is their newest foster kid. They have instant attraction. I cannot wait to see where this goes!!
I’m now 46% through and the love that developed between these two is so pure and good and steamy in a very PG way. It’s so good that I’m getting nervous…I feel like something is going to happen. Their love is sort of forbidden as they are foster sibblings. But that should still be ok, right? I have a feeling this one’s going to rip my heart out. Wish me luck…like go back in time cause obviously you’re reading this after I finished the book. Ok, ok, you caught me. I’m stalling. I want to go back to reading, but, have I mentioned how scared I am??? Here. I. Go.
Ok..I’m done!!! That was a rollercoaster of emotions. I feel at peace though, the way everything turned out. Not perfect, but what in life is? I feel a contented sigh bubbling up none the less! Bravo Ella James for a beautiful story!
