Mr. President by Ivy Jordan

Mr. President by Ivy Jordan
Quinn crushes on Adam, her brother’s friend since she’s 12. Now that he is running for president, and she’s all grown up, her childhood crush turns smoldering l. I thought this was going to be to similar to the America Pesident, but it wasn’t. I enjoyed the way the story evolved and have to give this one an A+.

I love this series of novellas. They are a nice pick me up through my day!

The Pawn,                                  The Knight,                                The Castle The End Game TrilogyBy Skye Warren

I never do this, but I am reviewing these 3 books together for the simple reason that I could not wait to read the next book! I would finish one and the next second had to move to the next. This trilogy is captivating. There is no emotion left untouched. There is scorching chemistry between Gabriel and Avery. He is everything you want in your male lead. Handsome, loyal, bad turned goodish, wealthy, but most of all, loyal. Avery is smart and strong and kind and loyal. I love that there is not one unnecessary word in these books. The story follows Gabriel and Avery through so many twists and turns. Some of this story takes on a phycological thriller kind of feel. You need this story in your life!

Stop reading, go and get it! And, your welcome;)

Trust by Kylie Scott

I received and ARC for an honest review.

This book starts out with a literal bang…a robbery that is frighteningly real. My heart was pounding as if I was living through the robbery with our heroin, Edie. The story progresses so beautifully and is perfectly paced. John and Edie meet during the robbery. He saves her life, and is the most unlikely hero, as he is the local drug dealer. The robbery changes both of their lives forever. I love the relationship between John and Edie. I love the relationship between Edie and her mother. This story moved me. Kylie Scott has a huge fan in me!! This is a stand alone, although I would love to read more about their best friends!!!

Daddy’s Bought Virgin by Roxeanne Rolling

I received an ARC for an honest review.

The title makes this sound like it’s going to be this completely taboo subject matter, but it is nothing like that.
Olivia is down to her last dollar thanks to her gambling addicted father. David needs to clean up his image to keep his daughter away from her drug addicted mother.Put the two together and voila, you have the makings of a beautiful relationship. There are a lot of twists and turns, and sometimes I just want to punch David, but he wins me over in the end.

This is a steamy, nice, read.

Fallen Crest Forever by Tijan

Fallen Crest Forever by Tijan
I’m not giving anything away, I think, but since it’s in the first paragraph…OMG, she said yes!!!!!! I was on pins and needles and had to wait a whole 8 hours for her answer!!! (Going from the end of Home to Forever).

I’ve been trying to figure out why I am so in love with this series, with this book. The loyalty has always been a reason. The way Mason, Logan, and Samantha have bonded and stayed together is beautiful. But in this book, I think what stands out to me is that they are, what every person who has ever been bullied, who has ever been truly alone, wishes they had. Not many have experienced the type of aloneness that Sam had. A parent left, boyfriend cheating with her best friend, friends desert her, and then she moves in with the enemy. For those of us that have experienced it, we know Sam’s responses are spot on. We wished there was a Logan to make us laugh and watch our back as a brother. We wish that our soul mate was there too, to end the utter loneliness. Sam is rescued and in return rescues her new step brother and fiancé. I love this series! I love these characters! I’m going to miss them, but I think that will only make me do a re read sooner! The end of this book and this series is utterly satisfying. I finished 4 hours ago and am still tearing up, in a good way. Thank you, Tijan for this beautiful world you created for us!

Fallen Crest Home by Tijan

I cannot say enough about the series or about the sincerity that Sam and Mason are written with. I fell in love with Mason and Logan and Sam as an unlikely family. Sam’s mother and Mason and Logan’s dad are in a relationship and getting married. Sams mother is a horrible person and terrible to Sam. When the brothers realize how neglected and alone Sam is, Mason and Logan embraced Sam and protected her from book one. Their bond is so beautiful. This book focuses on Sam and Mason, with Logan as the comic relief. I love the honesty of Sam! She owns everything about herself. She even owns her self doubt. She doesn’t lie and gives integrity a new meaning. Same goes for Mason. He is fiercely loyal. No nonsense. With Mason you know who he is. I love them both! I love this book from start to finish and every word in between.
