Baby Fever Virgin: A Billionaire’s Second Chance by Nicole Snow

Baby fever virgin:a billionaires second chance by Nicole Snow
I received an ARC for an honest review.

This is a story of a rich boy (Luke) and a poor girl (Robbin). Girl invades boy’s personal space, girl gets yelled at and insulted. Lather, rinse, repeat and somehow, they fall in love.

I don’t like to spoil books so I won’t give any more plot detail except that, of course a deception breaks them up. There is so very much they have to overcome to have any chance. Some how, some way, they get that chance. There is a lot in this book. It could have been 2 books. There might have been just a little to many things to over come. However, the chemistry with these characters is seriously off the charts!!!

Throne of Truth by Pepper Winters

Throne of Truth is book 2.

I love Pepper Winters. I’m a HUGE fan. But if I am being completely honest, half of this book frustrated me. I felt the characters were trapped by circumstance. I just wanted to see them reconnect after three plus years of being separated. I wanted to see them discover each other. Their story was so beautiful that I didn’t think it need the outside influences. However, once things started progressing, about half way through, my heart started to flutter again. The last half of the book more than made up for my irritation. Maybe I’m the only one that felt that way. Maybe I was just anticipating this book so  much that I wanted perfection. I don’t know. But I would read it again and I would recommend it.

Deceit can be Deadly Law of the lycans book 8

I hate to do this, but I really wasn’t a fan of this book. I am a big fan of this series and this author, but this book was hard to get through. I found it boring. Ugh! I’m sorry!

I didn’t feel any chemistry between the main characters. I didn’t  t even find them likable. The story line was confusing. But…

I did like visiting with the old characters from other books in this series.

I’m going to refrain from my rating system. It would just be mean.

Friction by Emily Snow

This book is a huge home run!!!! First let me say that I am a huge fan of Emily Snow. My only issue with her is that her books are so good, that I wait for the next book, and it takes a long time. Now, I am not an author (yet), but in one of her series, there is this character, that I swear is alive. I need to read his story, but it hasnt been written yet. So please Ms. Snow, I would love to read the rest of the Devoured series.

This book is a stand alone, so I dove in.

Lucy is the classic over achiever that falls for the sexy untouchable bad boy from high school. I love the way this book plays out. I love the natural progression from, love/hate, to I can’t believe I’m working with my high school crush (on both ends), to physical heat that almost melted my kindle, and beyond.

If you like a good steamy romance, look no further.

Scorched by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Frigid is book one, although both can be read as a stand alone I think.

This is one of those books that just hit you in the chest and knocks all of the air out of your lungs. Andrea is a party girl who has been crushing on Tanner since freshman year of college. Now that they have mutual friends, their paths cross more often and they develop a love hate relationship. You can see from the beginning that Andrea has problems with addiction and with a very destructive self dialog. Although I have never experienced the level of addiction Andrea goes through, the negative self talk? Yea, that one I get. It was so personal and eye-opening. I loved that the story didn’t take  the road of blaming the parents, although for some, that is a reality. It was refreshing. Tanner and Andrea’s love story is just beautiful and I give this book two huge thumbs up!!!!

An Irresistable Bachelor by Jessica Bird

Oye! Just oye. I didn’t love this book. I wanted to. I love Jessica Bird/J.R.Ward, but this book started out having a huge hurdle to jump as I knew the hero, Jack, had proposed to his girlfriend in the last book, and she accepted. So, engaged man should not be getting busy with a pretty red head! I get that there were disclaimers all over the place: he didn’t love her, she knew that. I don’t care. That is a commitment. And I don’t care if there is a kiss involved or full out sex, it’s still cheating. I might have been able to get over it if Jack was an unbeliably likable character. Sadly, he wasn’t. He was ok, but ok is not going to make infidelity easy to get past. So, sadly not a great review. I hate writing these 😦

The Return:Titan 1 by Jennifer L. Armentrout

I am so aggravated because I am reading out-of-order. I thought this was book 1 because, it is book 1. But its book 1 of a spin-off series. So annoying! However, the book was so good, I’m chosing to get over this. And the author explains everything, so even though Im coming into this book cold, I understood everything. This book was funny and sexy and suspenseful and just about everything that I like to read. Seth is adorable. His chemistry with Josie is off the charts! Their love story is so sweet and full of redemption, and unconditional love, I swear, just like the Grinch, I felt my heart swell. Now, I have to start at the beginning of the original series. Fun!!
